Garrett Sager (he/they; a.k.a. HOT CHICKN/Melissabeth/Sophie Dishwater) is a theater & performance producer, director, dramaturg, and performer based in Hudson, NY—ancestral Muhheaconneok land.

A double Gemini with a Virgo rising, Garrett dreams big—and is often confronted with the unfortunate limits of time and anxiety.

He is a co-founder and the current Producing Director of Queer & Now, an unapologetically feminist, trans-inclusive, anti-racist futuristic performance collective, now in its fourth year.

Garrett holds a B.A. in Theater from Amass Amherst, where he was named a 2019 Rising Researcher.

Starting in fall 2021, Garrett will be a member of the inaugural class of the M.A. in Human Rights and the Arts at Bard College.

They are also an arts administrator, currently working in the Marketing department at the Fisher Center at Bard.

Garrett loves creating projects rooted in celebration, community, and heart. They hope to create some magic before the world is underwater. Care to join them?
