New England premiere

Winner of the 2008 Edinburgh Fringe First Award and the Carol Tambor ‘Best of Edinburgh’ Award, Eight comprises eight monologues offering a portrait of a generation defined by apathy amongst a consumerist boom.

Ranging in ages from seventeen to early thirties, the characters include Miles, a survivor of the 7/7 London Tube bombings; Bobby, a Scottish mother desperately trying to give her children a magical Christmas; Millie, a conservative sex worker mourning the loss of the British class system; and André, a gallery owner whose boyfriend has just hung himself with an Hermès scarf.
